Onyx Hotel MIAMISPRINGS

We booked this hotel due to the proximity to the airport as well as being able to park our car. The hotel was very clean and spacious. The staff were great and the shuttle to the airport was great. Felt very safe and liked the fact they have security cameras due to leaving our car.

We use this facility when traveling to and from Miami. Parking is included in the package and is plentiful and convenient. The staff is most pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is above average for a motel. Tom's next door is a few steps away and is a great sports bar--kitchen open until 12 mid night. Remodeled rooms and soon lobby area--very clean. Highly recommend

Booked the hotel for 1 night w/14 days of free parking while on a cruise. Room was spacious and clean. A/c did run most of the time, but it was Miami in the summer. Lots of cable channels, a charging station, lounge chair, fridge, microwave, and two pillows(one soft/one firm on both beds. Bath separate with large vanity, good hair dryer, sizable,soft towels, and shower head with lots of pressure and multiple settings. Breakfast is decent and if you want something better an IHOP is next door with good food in large portions. There is a 24 hour coffee and tea bar. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Did not use the free airport shuttle, but it seemed available "on call" anytime we were downstairs. Port shuttle by Doral was very efficient and cost $ 20pp each way. Scored a nice parking spot under cover park, lock and take your keys. No issues with the parking. Area is right next to the airport, so it is not the greatest, but we never felt uncomfortable. We stayed June 2017, but that was not a drop down selection.

Terrific place to stay and leave car. Price excellent, staff accommodating. Transfer to and from port excellent.
